The road less traveled…. The road that no one ultimately wants to be alone, because well there are times where..let’s just flat out and say it, you’re alone. You’re in this season of separation. You know that season, where it seems like friendships are ending left and right, you & your boo just not working out anymore, and not to mention it seems like you’re confused on where your life is going. My dear friend, let me remind you that everyone can’t go where you’re going..and guess what..THAT’S OKAY! Thank God everyone can’t go with me, that’ll be more worry and stress on my part.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
There is literally nothing to worry about, wanna know why? Jesus overcame it. Whatever you’re dealing with, whatever you’re going through.. Jesus overcame it. So now is the question..why? WHY? Why are my friends slipping away..why is me & boo fighting..why can’t I just get it right? Because God is consecrating you from things that will distract you from going higher. I know we hear the term all the time “elevation requires separation” well it’s not a lie. It’s the closest things to the truth. The higher you go, the thicker it gets. Everyone isn’t built for the vision that God gave YOU. You can’t expect friends, family, whoever to support the vision God gave you, he didn’t give it to them, he gave it to you. You have to be responsible with the tree that God gave you. God gave every single one of us a vision, a purpose, a passion, a plan, and ultimately it’s OUR responsibility. Don’t try to blame your broken limbs on God, he gave you the vision, and you told everybody and them daddy about it prematurely and now you’re discouraged because they told you that you can’t do that. Oh you can’t start that YouTube channel..you can’t write that book..you can’t start that business..they shot down EVERYTHING you were passionate about. Small minded people can’t go where you’re going..and that’s OKAY. It should give you a short of appreciation when people begin to shift like wheat, like thank you God for showing me their true colors, I appreciate it, now I can move forward without them, and fulfill the vision you called me to do. People don’t realize that your vision can be altered by the words of the people around you. Once you start to listen to those negative friends, and the negative words, you’ll begin to believe them, and before you know it, you’ve forfeited the dream that God gave you. How sad is that? Allowing others to make you forfeit your dream by their negative words. You deserve more. God deserves more. Your purpose deserves more. Do yourself the favor and thank God. Thank him for the relationships you did have, thank him for the ones that are coming in the future.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28
